This post is brought to you by The Coca-Cola Company. Thank you for supporting the brands that sponsor Finding Beautiful Truth. Healthy snacking . . . Life tends to get busy, and it’s hard to make smart snack choices on-the-go. Whether you’re hitting the road or headed to the gym this summer, all it takes…
Strawberry + peach cobbler . . . When company is in town, there’s always time for dessert. This recipe is as easy as they come, beautifully rustic and calls for just minutes of prep. We like to serve our cobbler hot out of the oven with fresh berries or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
SLC brunch scene . . . When it comes to baked goods and coffee shop scenes, Tulie Bakery in Salt Lake City’s 9th and 9th district is a favorite. They serve breakfast, lunch and have a display case full of homemade pastries, tiered cakes and everyday treats. There’s something for everyone.
Chipotle ketchup . . . I’m a big fan of game day grub, and this spicy chipotle ketchup always hits the spot. It’s a five minute recipe that pairs perfectly with sliders, curly fries and pigs in a blanket. Talk about a fan food lineup–this one is sure to please.
Noosa yogurt . . . With a new list of things to do, necessities to pack and places to be, I’m relying on healthy snacks to keep me fueled. These tart & sweet Noosa yogurt flavors are just the ticket. They taste great and travel even better.
Peanut butter chocolate fudge . . . Every Christmas, my mom makes a big batch of chocolate fudge. It’s a traditional treat, and this spin on the classic recipe is just as easy as it is sweet. Cue Reese’s peanut butter chips–they’re the star of the show.
Molly Moon ice cream . . . Have you ever tried honey lavender flavored ice cream? Until our recent trip to Molly Moon’s, I hadn’t either. Slightly sweet and surprisingly refreshing, it was one of the best desserts I’ve had in a really long time.
Homegrown . . . Last month, we celebrated Jake’s birthday in Seattle. It was a weekend packed with good food, good company and the best Seahawks home game we could have asked for. While in town, we had to make a stop at Homegrown. Their breakfast sandwiches are Jake’s favorite.
