Our Mid-Mod reno . . .

I wish I had a finished house to show you, but this progress update + video will just have to do. Guys, I’m over the moon about how far we’ve come. Don’t believe me? Take a peek here. There’s been so much activity on the job site–the past couple of months have been really productive. We (finally!) finished framing, added insulation to every single nook and cranny, started drywalling and began tile work in the bathrooms. It may not sound like much, but these jobs are big ones. They’re the final steps before all the FUN finishing work begins.

In my last renovation recap, I shared exactly how we chose our new front door with Simpson Door Co. It’s featured in the video above. What do you think? You’ll notice that the style is far more modern than the home’s original front door, but I love the way the new style brings the entire home into the current decade of design. So far, it’s my favorite feature that we’ve installed.

You’ll also notice a few other products. Here’s a list of vendors or direct links to where we sourced the goods featured in this Mid-Mod reno update:

Bathroom Tile
3×6 Carrara Marble – Floor + Decor
4×12 Fresh White Tile – Home Depot

White Exterior Paint – Sherwin-Williams

Deep Soaking BathtubHome Depot (we got one for the basement, too)

Terrazzo Floor Tile – Fritztile

Front Door + Sidelight – in collaboration with Simpson Door Co.

Front Door HardwareWayfair (in matte black)
