Comfort food at it’s finest . . .

A stop at Amy Ruth’s was a must on our NYC to-do list. It was my first fried chicken and waffles experience, and it definitely won’t be my last. There’s just something about their extra crispy, fried batter. It’s thick and rich in seasoning, perfectly complimenting the sweetness of the pure maple syrup and the fluffiness of the Belgian waffle. Hook, line and sinker–this Mississippi girl has met her match.
