Charleston City Guide: 10 Things to Do, Eat + See

 Charleston City Guide . . . 

After a few trips to this charming destination, I’ve made a list of things to do, sights to see and places to eat. This Charleston city guide is definitely long weekend ready:

1. Visit the Boone Hall Plantation (as seen in The Notebook).
2. Plan for a photo-op along Rainbow Row.
3. Eat Carolina BBQ at Cumberland’s Smokehouse.
4. Head toward the ocean, and take a stroll along East Battery.
5. Schedule a historic tour to learn more. (Ghost tours are my favorite!)
6. Order shrimp and grits from Lowcountry Bistro.
7. Stay downtown–the Belmond Charleston Place is centrally located.
8. Have weekend brunch at Hominy Grill.
9. Into jewelry? Stop by the Moon and Lola flagship store.
10. Get a sweet treat from Jeni’s on King Street.
