Alta wildflowers in bloom . . . 

Last Friday night, we made our way up Little Cottonwood Canyon. It was the perfect way to kick off the weekend.

We got to the resort about an hour before the sun was scheduled to set. This left plenty of time to wander the mountainside and snap a few photos of the scenery. Even though we weren’t there to hike, the trail to Cecret Lake is one of my favorites. It’s family friendly and leads directly to the water. Be sure to pack a lunch–this spot is ideal for picnicking.
