My Dad’s Homemade Pear Jam

Homemade pear jam . . .

My dad and I have a lot of things in common–like our love of fresh fruit spread.

Last month, my dad harvested the pears from his backyard tree. This came as a labor of love, having spent the last couple of years tending to the maturing tree and patiently waiting for it’s fruit to grow. The man is the epitome of dedication. With all of his extra pears, he whipped up this easy recipe to share. Needless to say, it’s quickly become a favorite at our place. I’ve been smearing jam on toast every single morning since.
