A cozy lodge and a table for two . . .

The Goldminer’s Daughter is one of Little Cottonwood Canyon’s iconic ski lodges. It’s situated at the base of Alta’s Wildcat lift, making it ideal for a ski-in ski-out stay. While there, you must have dinner at The Top of the Lodge. The food is delicious, and the mountainside views are breath-taking. I highly recommend ordering the Smashed Bison Burger–one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. It’s thick, juicy and topped with all the trimmings. When paired with steak fries, it’s a match made in heaven.
