Sugar Cookies with Dark Chocolate Chips

Sugar cookies make the heart grow fonder.

When it comes to cookies, my ideal combination is a sugar cookie with dark chocolate chips. The flavor is rich and successfully satisfies that occasional sweet tooth. This recipe is a favorite, with the addition of one cup of dark chocolate chips. I also drop spoonfuls of dough onto the cookie sheet rather than neatly rolling them into a ball. It helps to creates a more rustic, less perfect shaped treat.
