Liberty Heights Fresh . . . 

It’s the perfect spot to grab some locally sourced produce, sip on a specialty soda or taste test all the finest in terms of cheese. And, did I mention the displays? I’m still in awe of this dreamy little haunt.

Haley and I made a pit stop after a recent photo session. We each grabbed a few necessities plus a drink for the road. Had it of been lunch time, I could have easily opted for a ready-to-go sandwich. Packed with veggies, they looked absolutely delicious.

Instead, I went with a wedge of Parmigiana Reggiano, some beautiful heirloom tomatoes and a healthy handful of fresh basil. Spaghetti sounded good, and these high quality ingredients easily transformed our weeknight meal into a date night worthy spread.

So, the moral of the story? Make a bigger effort to shop small. You never know what deliciousness you’ll discover.
