Nike workout wear . . .

With gear this cute, it’s really easy to stay active. A good gym-life balance has been my goal for 2016. I love working out–I love the way it makes me feel (energized and ready to take on the world).

Do you know that feeling? Like most things, I’ve learned from experience that it can get overwhelmingly addicting. Rather than fall back into old habits, I made a goal for 2016 to simply do something active for 30 minutes each day. It’s easy enough, and it’s helped me maintain a healthy perspective.

On weekdays, I love hitting our local trails just after lunch. It’s a great way to break up the day, brainstorm creative ideas and soak up a bit of sun.

How do you like to stay active? Do you struggle with a gym-life balance, too?

    1. Me, too! There’s nothing better than endorphins + vitamin D.

  1. i’m loving your gear!
AND i am also one to try to workout during the week at work, it really does help separate the day and kind of re-motivate myself to get stuff done!

    1. I completely agree, Amy. Sometimes a quick walk around the block is all you need!

  2. Oh those shoes are super cute!! I definitely struggle with a gym-life balance. Mainly because I work out best with a work out buddy. I just love doing things together with friends but our schedules are so differing that I’m finding it hard to go by myself. Definitely something I’m working on this year!

    Love,

    1. Working out with friends is a great way to stay motivated. Since getting married, I’ve missed having my girl friends/roommates to go to the gym with. My advice–try to do a few things on your own each week and plan fun weekend workouts with friends. These can be activities like a Saturday morning jog at the park with a healthy brunch after. Good luck!

    1. Cute leggings + shirt are thanks you you! Best gifts ever.
