Sunrise Memphis for Weekend Brunch

Brunch at Sunrise Memphis . . .

Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day–one I always look forward to and take advantage of when we’re traveling. Our night in Memphis was no exception. I did a quick scroll through Yelp, checked Google Reviews and stumbled upon Sunrise Memphis. Locals rave about their weekend brunch, and now I know why. It’s traditional, Southern comfort food. I’m talking grits with a pat of butter, biscuits ‘n strawberry jam and all cheesy eggs, bacon + sausage your heart desires. Call me a sap, but this is the kind of meal that warms my heart just thinking about it.

We ordered the ‘kitchen sink’ and a weekend special of French toast smothered in strawberries and streusel topping. Also, don’t skip a drink. Their branded souvenir cups are perfect for future at-home smoothies. Go ahead and do yourself a favor. Plan a weekend brunch at Sunrise Memphis next time you’re in town. They don’t call it ‘the best breakfast in Memphis’ for nothing.
