Frozen Hot Chocolate in NYC . . .
Nestled in the Upper East Side, the original location of Serendipity 3 sits really pretty. This eclectic eatery has been around since the 1950s, whipping up Frozen Hot Chocolate and classic American favorites. You’ll find sundaes, salads, burgers with fries, footlong hotdogs and an incredible assortment of Belgian waffles. I’m talking delicious food with a lot of fun flair.
It shouldn’t come as a surprise that Serendipity 3 is popular among locals and tourists alike. I highly recommend making a reservation online. There are two locations–the original in UES and a new space in Times Square. Seating on the second floor of the UES location is bright, airy and features colorful seasonal decor. Combined with the many shades of pink, it’s the very best seat in the house. My girls loved it.
Planning a trip to NYC?
Autumn in the city can’t be beat. We toured NYC from tip to tip during our school Fall Break (read the post here). Even with kids in tow, we saw the sights AND ate our weight in delicious dessert. These Stokke Yoyo Compact Strollers made the extra mileage a breeze–five starts all around. I love this lightweight style for weaving through crowds, busy streets or airport travel.
